The achievement gap is what is between the success of high income families and low income families.
High income families have a better chance of going to a better school and closing the achievement gap while low income families have the opposite. There are some low income schools who do have a chance of closing the achievement gap. For example Strive, Strive Prep Federal Campus has a 93% low income but still succeeding. But an example of a high income school like Steck Elementary School has a 10% low income and is one of the best elementary schools in Colorado.
